1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ProductBG (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
ProductBG provides AI-powered background removal and image optimisation for product photography. The Service is offered on a credit basis. Credits are consumed when an image is successfully processed.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Credits and payments
Credits are purchased in packs via Stripe. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and include applicable taxes where required. Credits do not expire. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Stripe processes all payment information — ProductBG does not store card details.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You must not upload images that contain illegal content, infringe third-party intellectual property, or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.
6. Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of all images you upload. ProductBG does not claim any rights to your content. By uploading images, you grant ProductBG a limited, temporary licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Data and privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and are not used for training AI models or shared with third parties.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProductBG disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
